The ayes and nays were called; Councilmen voting aye 7, <br />nay none, absent Peterson. Motion was declared carried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> The Council directed the Recorder to notify the Eugene Water Board to pay <br />in to the City TReasurer the sum of $1123.50 as advance rental on its contract <br />with t!~e City to meet expense of repairs for the Water & Light Department. <br /> <br /> Motion was m~de and seconded that the Recorder draw a warrant on the <br />General Fund in favor of Josie'Pullen for the sum of $500.00, the same to be <br />delivered upon her filing with the Reborder a satisfactory release, approved by <br />the City A~torney. The ayes and nays were called; Councilmen voting aye 6, <br />nay Goodpasture, absent Peterson.
