"TO 'I~{E MI~(BERS OF THE COMI~ION COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF EUGk.WE: You and each of you are hereby notified that I have and do hereby c~ll a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Eugene to meet on Friday, the 13th day of October, 1916, at 9 o'clock in the forenoon in the Recorder's office in the City of Eugene, for the purpose of considering the bids for the construction of a sewer on Third Avenue fro~,, ti~e Jefferson Street sewer to the alley' between Lincoln and Lawrence Streets, and for the construction of a sewer on Cheshire Avenue from the alley between Lawrence and Washington Streets to Jefferson Street. Dated, October 12, 1916. W. A. Bell, I{ayor. Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon, October 13, 1916. Council was called to order by I{ayor Bell in special session. Present Councilmen Polders, ?eterson, ~osher, Quimby and GOodpasture; absent Parks, Koppe and Devereaux. The purpose 8f the meeting was read as above set forth. }~{otion was made, seconded and carried that the Council finds and determines that the bid of K. L. Hall for the re-construction of the sewer on Cheshire Avenue from the ~l!ey between Lawrence and Washington Streets to Jefferson Street is the lowest and best bid, and that the Council award the contract for said sewer to him in accordance with his bid, a~t the ~ayor anti Recorder siam the s~e, and that checks be ret~m-ned to unsuccessful bidders. On motion the Council adjourned. City Recorder.
