An agreement of Mrs. Minnie Washburne to repair pavement at 21st Avenue <br />and Fairmount Boulevard in case the s~me shall become damaged on account of <br />ttmneling beneath the sa.me was on motion accepted, anti ordered filed. <br /> <br /> SIDEWALK: MINNIE FUP~AN. An Ordinance providing for the construction <br />of a cement sidewalk abutting the property described in Section One of this <br />Ordinance, said property being in the City of Eugene was read and passed its <br />second and third readings by title under suspension of the rule and was placed <br />upon its final passage. 0ounoilmen voting aye 7, nay none, absent Peterson. <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered #1883. <br /> <br /> SID~¢fALK: M. 0. H. Mahany for the construction of the relief sewer on Third Avenue <br />from the Jefferson Street sewer to the alley between Lincoln and Lawrence <br />Streets is the lowest anti best bid for said work and that the contract be <br />awarded to him in accordance with his bid, and the Mayor and Recorder instructed <br />to sign the same. Motion was seconded and the ayes and nays were called; <br /> <br />Councilmen voting aye 7, n~y none, absent Peterson. <br />carri ed. <br /> <br />Motion was declared <br /> <br />A communication from the Gamewell Fire Alarm Telegraph Co. relating <br /> <br />to the installation of a fire ~larm system at Eugene was read and filed. <br /> The followi~ bills were presented for payment: <br /> <br />Eugene Gun Co. $ .25 <br />Western Union Teleg.
