The 0rdin~%nce was declared <br />passed~and n~tmbered #1896. <br /> <br /> A report of the Street Co~nittee on the requested franchise of the <br />Southern Pacific Co. for ~ inch water pipe on Folk Street was read, and ~{r. <br />T. O. Russell presented the views of the S. P. Co., ~fter which ~ motion w~s <br />made, seconded and carried to adopt the report of the Committee, and a motion <br />was made, seconded and carried instructing the Recorder to give notice of con- <br />sideration of tt~e Ordinance proposing the terms of the franchise, in accordance <br />with the terms of the City Cha, rter. <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the Judiciary Com3~ittee that the claim of H. R. Price <br />for $75.00 for injury to Edith Price on account of alleged defective sidewalk <br />be paid was read, and a motio~ was made and seconded to ~llow the claim, and that <br />a w~rrant be drawn on the General I~nd in pay~ent thereof, to be delivered upon <br />the filing of a release to the City, approved by the City Attorney.
