Request was presented from Mr. Stanley for permission to erect a malthoid <br />roofed shed back of his store on Ninth Street to serve as shelter for his <br />automobile. Request was referred to the Fire & Water Committee with power <br /> <br />to act. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Council extend the time <br /> <br />of leave of absence of Co~n~cilman Polders an additional sixty days from the <br /> <br />23rd day of June. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance approving and adopting the plans anti specifications of <br /> <br />the Oity Engineer for the paving of Ferry Street from the North side o~ Eighth <br /> <br />Avenue East, north to a line parallel with and 30 feet distant from the center <br />line of the main track of the Oregon & California Railroad in the City of <br /> <br />' Eugene was read and passed it s second and third readings by title by unanimous <br /> <br />consent u~ler suspension of tlhe rule and was placed upon its final passage. <br />Councilmen voting aye 5, nay ~none, absent Polders, Spencer and ~osher. <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered <br /> <br /> The following bills w~ere recommended for payment by the Finance <br /> <br />Co~ittee, as follows: <br /> <br />Eugene BYuit Growers Assoc. <br />Sohaefers B~os. <br />Griffin-Babb Hdw.
