Walker of the Street Dept. <br />be granted two weeks vacation on pay; motion was made, seconded and carried <br />that the Recorder and Assistant be &~anted two weeks vacation on paY; motion <br />was made, seconded and carried that members of the Police Force be granted <br />two weeks vacation on pay unde~ direetio~ of the Police Co~uittee. <br /> <br />Notion was made, seconded and married that the matter of'vacations for the <br /> <br />Street Department be referred ~o the Street Com~aittee with .power to 'act. <br /> Councilman Parks requested that the interes~ on the assessment against <br /> <br />the Library Board for ornamental ll~xt posts be rebated; it appearing that the <br />assessment was made in the name of the City of Eugene, an4 that the Library <br /> <br />Board had not received notice.
