Resolution of the Park Bosrd recommending the appointment of Thomas <br /> <br />G. Hendricks as an honorary member of the Park Board for life was read, and <br /> <br />upon the 1appointment of Nr. }{end]'icks as an honorary member of the Park Board <br />motion was made, seconded and carried that the appointment by the ~ayor be eon- <br />firmed by the Council. <br /> <br />An Ordinance levyinE assessment for the construction of a sidewalk <br /> <br />abutting the property described in Section 2 of this Ordinance, John L. <br /> <br />and Jessie L. l~arsh owners, was read, and a written waiver of notice or object- <br />ions h~ving been filed by the said John L.. and Jessie L. l~arsh, the Ordinance <br /> <br />was read the second and third times by title under suspen,~ion of the rule and <br /> <br />was placed up,on its final passage. Councilmen voting aye V, n~y none, ~bsent <br />Devereaux. The Ordinance was declared passed and m~bered #l~lS. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance authorizing the, issu~nce~ and sale of Five Thousand l~vo <br />Hur~lred Dollars of ~mprovement Bonds of the City of Ek~g~ne, Lane County, <br />Oregon, and dlreetlng ti~e advertising the same for sale in accordance with <br />Chapter V, Title XXV! of Lord's Oregon Laws of the State of Oregon and all acts <br /> <br />amendatory and supplemental tAereto was read ~nd passed its second and third <br />readings by title unden suspension of 'the rule by unanimous consent of the <br />Council present ~and was placed upon its final passage. Councilmen voting <br /> <br />V, nay none, absent Devereaux.
