Present Councilmen Polders and Goodpasture. It appearing ~th~t <br />there is no quorum present motion was made~ seconded and carried that the <br />Council adjourn until November 19th at 7:30 o'clock P. November 19, 1917. <br /> <br /> Council met pursuant to a~ljournment of November '12th, and was called <br />to order by Mayor Peterson. Present Councilmen Polders, Parks, Koppe, <br />Spencer, Mosher, Goodpasture and Spangler; absent Devereaux. <br /> <br /> The minutes of Council proceedings under dates of .October 8th, 15th <br />and 22nd were read and approved. <br /> <br /> The request of ti. H. Robberson for lodging hous~ permit was read and <br />on motion &~anted. <br /> <br /> The request of J. K. Greet for permission to erect a. temporary roof <br />over his auction platfor~.~ between Pearl and Park Streets was referred to the <br />Fire & V~ater Co~l~ittee with pov.~er to act. ~ <br /> <br /> The report of the Advisory Matron for the month of October Was read <br />and placed on file. <br /> <br /> Annual report of the Dibrary Board was read and referred to .the <br />Finance Co~_~mittee. <br /> <br /> Report of the Building .~nspecto~ for the month of October was read~ <br />and placed on file. <br /> <br /> The Street Committee recommended that Mr. J. M. Younkin be placed <br /> <br />on the pay roll of the Street Department as a teamster, as of date of November <br />1st, at a salary of $~.00 per month. MotiOn was made and seconded to <br /> <br />adopt the reco~J~endation, and the ayes and n~ys were called. Councilmen <br />voting aye 7, nay none; absent Devereaux. <br />ordered. <br /> <br />Motion was declared e~rried and so <br /> <br /> <br />
