APRIL 26, 1915. <br /> <br />a license, imposing penalties for the violation of this 0rdinanee, repealing <br />all 0rdi~u~nees in conflict herewith and declaring an emergency was read and <br />passed its second and third readings by title ~mder suspension of the rule and <br />was placed upon its final pmssage. Councilmen voting aye 8, nay none. <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered <br /> <br /> The Street Com_~ittee reported favorably on the petition for paving of <br />Sixth Avenue West from Olive Street to Blair Boulevard, which report was on <br />motion adopted. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance to improve Sixth Avenue West from Olive Street to Blair <br />Boulevard in the City of Ek~gene was read and passed its second and third readings <br />by title under Suspension of the rule and was placed upon its final passage. <br />Councilmen voting aye 8, nay none. The 0rdin~mee was declared passed mhd num- <br />bered #lTiW. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance adopting ~nd approving the plans and specifiestions of <br /> <br />the City Engineer for the p~vement of Sixth Avenue West from Olive Street to <br />Blair Boulevard in the City of Eh~ene, directing the Recorder to advertise for <br />bids for the construction of the improvement and notifying property oysters <br />when and where the bids will be considered was read and p~ssed its second and <br />third readings by title under suspension of the rule and was placed upon its <br />final passage. Councilmen voting aye 8, n~y none. The Ordinance was de- <br />clared passed and numbered #1715. <br /> <br /> Bids were Opened snd considered for the purchase of $1W,000 Series "N" <br /> Improvement Bonds~ and the s~me h~ving been investigated by the <br /> <br /> Committee said Committee by Chairman W. Polders moved that the Council now <br /> finds and determines that the bid of Geo. D. & J. A. ~c?hersen, which bid <br /> is as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />R. S. Bryson, Esq., <br /> <br /> City Recorder, <br /> <br /> Eugene, Oregon. <br /> <br />Dear Sir: <br /> <br />?ortland, Oregon, April 2W, 1915. <br /> <br />Subject to re&~larity of issue being approved by our Attorney, <br /> <br />we bid for $1k,000.00 City Improvement Bonds, Series "N" for which proposals <br />are invited April 26th, Par, Accrued Interest and a premium of Two Hun~ed <br />Ten ($210.00) Dollars. <br /> <br /> <br />
