JANUARY 28, 1918, <br /> <br />2.79 <br /> <br />the objection is not a proper objection to the assessment, and that the same <br />be overruled and denied, and that the Ordinance be read the third time and <br />placed upon its final passage. Motion was carried. The Ordinance was <br />read the third time and placed upon its passage; Councilmen voting aye 8, <br />nay none. The Ordinance was declared passed and nunbered #1919. <br /> <br /> A complaint that the lights on street cars on the College Crest line <br />were too dim, and also that the street cars running on F~st Eighth Street <br />were too'noisy on account of flat wheels was referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> On motion the Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> FEBRUARY ll, 1918. <br /> <br /> Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon, February 11, 1918. <br /> <br /> Council met in regular monthly session, and was called to order by <br />Mayor Peterson. Present Councilmen Polders, Koppe, Spencer, Mosher, <br />Goodpasture and Spangler; absent Parks and Devereaux. <br /> <br /> The minutes of Council proceedings under dates of January lkth and <br />28th were read and approved. <br /> <br /> Report of ~lrs.
