MAY 2~, 1915. Petition fop a lateral sewer in the alley between Ninth and Tenth Avenues from point opposite Lot 5, Block l, Wallis-Dorris Add. West to sewer on Polk Street, and a petition for a sewer on Lawrence Street from Second Avenue North to Ct~eshire Street, thence by most practical route to outlet were referred to the Sewer Co~m~ittee. Communication of Allen E~ton in reference to placing electric wires of street li~ts underground, etc., also a petition for street lights on Blair Boulevard at First, at b~)0 feet Nortt~ of First, and railroad rip,hr-of-way, and a petition requesting that the Council amend the fire limits by excluding property west of C_harnelton Street now included were read and referred to the ~'ire & Wate~ Co~mittee. Petition of W. B. Dillard, Attorney, for l~{iss Jennie ~{cClure ~equest- lng return of $18.69, claimed ~s an over-payment on East Eighth Street p~ving was read and referred to the Street Committee and City Attorney. Petition fop the improvement by grading and gravelling of the alley be- tween Chameleon and 5ineoln Streets from Eleventh to 'lh.velfth Avenues was re- fete'ed to the Street Committee. Petition for the abatement of the tabernacle building at Tenth and Charnelton Streets as a public nuisance was referred to the Judiciary Committee, Street Co~m~_~ittee and City Attorney. Request of Darwin Bristow, Agent, for the retumn of $5.00 license paid on the Oh~isman dog was presented, and ~ motion was m~de and seconded that ~ warran~ be drawn in favor of Darwin Bristow, Agent, for $5.00. The ayes and n~ys were c~lled, Council~en voting aye 7, n~y none, absent Bo&~e. ~;~otion was declared carried ~and so ordered. In the matter of the agreement with the P. E. & E. Railway Co. for planking along the rails on Blair Boulevard, motion was made, seconded and carried that the first paragraph on the second page of said agreement consist- lng of Five lines, r8fePring to the reconstruction with Belguim Blocks, be eliminated from said agreement. Recommendation of the Fire & Water Con~ittee that ~ street light be installed at the intersection of Twentieth and Cl~a~nelton StPeets was on motion adopted. Resignation of Councilman G. H. Bogue of the Second Ward was read, and a motion was made, second and carried to accept the same.
