MAY 2~, 1915. <br /> <br /> Petition fop a lateral sewer in the alley between Ninth and Tenth <br />Avenues from point opposite Lot 5, Block l, Wallis-Dorris Add. West to sewer <br />on Polk Street, and a petition for a sewer on Lawrence Street from Second <br />Avenue North to Ct~eshire Street, thence by most practical route to outlet were <br />referred to the Sewer Co~m~ittee. <br /> <br /> Communication of Allen E~ton in reference to placing electric wires <br /> <br />of street li~ts underground, etc., also a petition for street lights on <br /> <br />Blair Boulevard at First, at b~)0 feet Nortt~ of First, and railroad rip,hr-of-way, <br />and a petition requesting that the Council amend the fire limits by excluding <br />property west of C_harnelton Street now included were read and referred to the <br />~'ire & Wate~ Co~mittee. <br /> <br /> Petition of W. B. Dillard, Attorney, for l~{iss Jennie ~{cClure ~equest- <br />lng return of $18.69, claimed ~s an over-payment on East Eighth Street p~ving <br />was read and referred to the Street Committee and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Petition fop the improvement by grading and gravelling of the alley be- <br />tween Chameleon and 5ineoln Streets from Eleventh to 'lh.velfth Avenues was re- <br />fete'ed to the Street Committee. <br /> <br /> Petition for the abatement of the tabernacle building at Tenth and <br />Charnelton Streets as a public nuisance was referred to the Judiciary <br />Committee, Street Co~m~_~ittee and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Request of Darwin Bristow, Agent, for the retumn of $5.00 license <br /> <br />paid on the Oh~isman dog was presented, and ~ motion was m~de and seconded <br />that ~ warran~ be drawn in favor of Darwin Bristow, Agent, for $5.00. <br />The ayes and n~ys were c~lled, Council~en voting aye 7, n~y none, absent <br /> <br />Bo&~e. ~;~otion was declared carried ~and so ordered. <br /> <br /> In the matter of the agreement with the P. E. & E. Railway Co. for <br /> <br />planking along the rails on Blair Boulevard, motion was made, seconded and <br />carried that the first paragraph on the second page of said agreement consist- <br />lng of Five lines, r8fePring to the reconstruction with Belguim Blocks, <br />be eliminated from said agreement. <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the Fire & Water Con~ittee that ~ street light <br /> <br /> be installed at the intersection of Twentieth and Cl~a~nelton StPeets was on <br /> motion adopted. <br /> <br /> Resignation of Councilman G. H. Bogue of the Second Ward was read, <br /> <br /> and a motion was made, second and carried to accept the same. <br /> <br /> <br />
