A petition having been. filed for the vacation of a certain alley running North and South througk Fractional Block "C" of Skinners' Donation on ~(ay 10, lglS, and due notice by posting on public bulletin boards having been given that said petition would be heard by the Uouncil on June 1~$, lgl5, the matter coming on at this time for hearing an 0rdinance pFoviding for the vaca- tion of said alley was read its first and second readings and laid over. An Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sewer in the 0ity of Eugene in the alley between Seventh and Eighth Avenues from Van Bumen Street to Blair Boulevard passed its first re~ding and was laid over. An Ordinance for the construction of a sewer in the alley between Ninth and Tenth Avenues from a point opposite Lot 5 in Block l, Wallis-Dorris Addition West to connect with the sewer on Polk Street in the City of Eugene was read and passed its second and third readings by title under suspension
