MAROH 15, ltl5. <br /> <br /> A bill from ~he clerk of ~he U. S. Oircul% Court of Appeals, San Francisco, <br />0alii., for balance of fees due for issuing mandate in the case of Grelle vs. <br />City of E~gene in the sum of $5.70 was presented, and a motion was made and <br />seconded that a warrant be dmav~n on the General ~%~nd in favor of the Recorder <br />for $5.75 to cover the bill and exchange. The eyes and nays were called; <br />Councilmen voting ~¥e Johnson, Parks, Bogue, Bell, Devereeu~x, Beytien and <br /> <br /> Eotlon was declared carried and <br /> <br />Goodpast~e, nay none, absent ~.~e~urphey. <br />so ordered. <br /> <br /> The following Resolution was read: <br />" RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> - W]{EREAS, the Conu~on Council of the Ci%y of Eugene by Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1689 passed on' the 1st day of February, 1915, and approved on the 2nd <br />day of b'ebruary, lgl5, adopted and approved the ~,eport of the viewers filed <br />on the 7th day of December, lglk, and the report confirming said report <br />filed on the llth day of January, 1915, in the matter of the opening and ex- <br />tension of Seventeenth Avenue F~st from Oak Street to Willamette Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, more th~n twenty (20) days h~ve elapsed from the adoption of <br />said 0~dlnance and no appeal having been taken as provided by law <br /> <br /> THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Conu~on Council of the City of Eugene <br />th~ the City Reeo~'der of the City of Eugene be, and he is hereby directed to <br />ente~ in the docket of City Liens the respective sums of benefits over damages <br />so assessed upon each particular lot or parcel of land and the names of the <br />o~%ers o~ othe~ parties in interest in the lands or other property benefitted <br />and assessed iN' ll%e manner as assessments fo~ street improvements are entered <br />in said Docket and as specified in said 0rdinanee No. 1689. <br />Notion was m~de, seconded and carried to adopt the Resolution. <br /> <br /> The following Resolution was read: <br /> <br />" RESOLUT ION <br /> <br /> V;HEREAS, the Co~m~on Council of the City of Eugene by Ordinance <br /> <br />No. 1668 passed on the 30th day of No~mber, 191W, and approved by the Eayor <br />on the ls$ d~y of December, 191[~, adopted and approved the repo~t of the <br />viewers filed on the 26th day of 0etcher, 191W, in the matter of the opening <br />and extensio~ of Nineteenth Avenue East from the East line of Willamette <br />Street; to the West line of Drive~ton Addition in the 0ity of Eugene, Lane <br />County, Oregon, and <br /> <br /> <br />
