Be it further resolved that the said Ordinance be amended by reciting therein that the notices had~been given as provided by lt~w and that the Common Council has considered the protests and over ruled the same except in so far as the assessments are redueted as h~rein specified. And be it f~trtt~er resolved that the said Ordinance with the proposed amen(~nents be placed on its final passage.
