Co., appeared,, and asked permis- <br />sion on behalf 'of his compa2Y to temporarily dls~'ontinu, e the use of the 8th <br />and Blair St. Car from Wlll~ette St. eas~ during the course of paving ~f the <br /> <br />tracks on South Wtlk~nette St. ani West llth Ave. as the company needs aa extra <br />oar on these lines during .such time, and by this discontl~u.ance will have such car <br /> <br />to use, On mOtiOn such permission was granted. <br /> <br />J.T. Gilfrey appeared and asked as to the disposition of the petition he <br /> <br />filed On Hay let, last asking for the opening of part of 9th Ave. W. and part <br /> <br />of TYler Street.. He was promised relief. <br /> <br /> Bids were opened as per the cat1, for the o,~structlon of a sewer in the <br /> <br />al~eybetweea Lincoln and Lawrence Streets from 21st Ave. to 23rd Ave. a.s foLLows: <br /> <br /> Oscar Snow. $1~62.50 <br /> Maurice Marquise 1289.00 <br /> Stien Bros. .' 1980.00 <br />Such bids were referred to the Street Committee for an l~uedlate report and the <br /> <br />bid of Maurice'Marquiss, at $1289.00 was reco~neuded and, on motion, such report <br />w~ ~lopted and the Mayor and City Recorder instructed to ~nter into a c~ntr'act <br /> <br />with such person for the amount of his bid, , ' <br /> <br /> Bids were .next ~pened as per the calk for 12~ cords of 2 foot old growth <br />body fir wood and the following bids mere received: <br /> <br /> , W.B. Such bids were referred to the Inspector of Buildings with <br /> <br />-- power to act and he accepted the bid of L etas at $7.85. <br /> <br /> .The Street Committee reported the Ny.
