DeLay and expept said Lot 2 in said block 1. ThaT the vacation of First Avenue East oe~not affect any persom~at all except the undersigned petitioners amd possibly Mary J. DeLay, sad it cannot in anywise injuriously affect Mary J. DeLay. That therefore the'names of the persons to be partiqularl¥ affected by the vacation of First Avenue East as herein peti- tioned are the undersigned petitioners and possibly Nary J. DeLay and there are no other pe,'~ons who will be particularly affected by such vacation. That prlo~ hereto Water Street was vacated and all th~and which was platted as Water Street and which can in anywise be affected by the vacation of First Avenue East is o~waed by the undersigned petitioners. That the changed course of High Street will serve every purpose which the part of First Avenue East herein petitioned to be vacated could possibly serve; that, indeed, said part of First Avenue East herein petit'ioned to be vacated cannot be ~f amy practi- cal utility to any person or persons at all amd it will' be far bett~ to vacate s~ld part of ~lrst Avenue East ~han te leave the s~e ep~; ~d there ~s no good reason a% all why that par~ of ~lrst Avenue E~st. hereln petitioned to be v~eated should contlnl~e to be u. sed as a street.
