Meeting called to order by Mayor E.B. parks. <br /> <br />Bids were called for the improvement of ~ainmount .Blw], from Moss to Columbia <br /> <br />Streets and the following bids were submitted: . <br /> Guy Pyle .$1185.60 <br /> Oscar Snow 1064'o O0 <br /> Stien B~Os. 1140.00 <br />Said bids Were ~e~ferred to the Road and Street Committee for an immediate report. <br /> <br />Such Committee recommended the bid cf Oscar Snow at $1064.00 which recommendation <br />was, on motion, approved and the Mayor' a'nd City Recorder authorized to enter into <br /> <br />a contract with s~id bidder for such improvement work. <br /> <br /> Bids were es[led for ~'he :onstruction ,)f a sewer in the alley between 6th and <br />9th Avenues from Van Buren Street to Almadentstreet~- a~d the following bid,~ were <br /> <br />submitted; <br /> <br />Guy Pyle <br />Maurioe Marquiss <br />Oscar Snow <br />Stien Bros. <br /> <br />$2220.00 <br />1659.00 <br /> 1787. o0 <br /> 2113.00 <br /> <br />Said bids were referred to the Road and StReet Committee for an immediate report. <br /> - : <br />Such Committee recommended the bid of Maurice Marquiss at $1659.00 which 'recommen- <br /> <br />dation was, on mot ion, approved, and the Mayor and City Recorder authorized to <br /> <br />enter into a contract with said bidder for such improvement work. <br /> <br />Bids wer~ ~alled for the construction of a sewer in the alley between Wa.~h- <br /> <br />lngron and Jefferson Streets from 1st Avenue South to the S.P.
