<br />by the City of ~gene, and shall not. be considered as ~ffected by any limitation
<br />o'f ln,lebtedness in the Charter of the City or elsewhere.

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by t~e Common Council of the City of ~gene, Oregon, that
<br />there be submitted.to the electors of the City for their~approval or rejection,
<br />at a special election to be held in the City on the 15th day'of April, 1925, the
<br />-annexed proposed charter ~ amendment entitled, "An A~t to amend the Char~er of the
<br />City of Eugene, Oregon, by.adding a new chapter thereto authori'zing and empowering
<br />the Common CounCil of the City to is.sue and sell negotiable bonds of. the City to
<br />.the amount of Twenty~flve Thousand ($25,000) Dollars or so much thereof as.may be
<br />n~essary for the purpose of purchasing new fire apparatus for the City, and to
<br />repeal the Act entitled, ,"An Act to ~nend the Charter of the City of E~lgene, Oregon,
<br />by adding a new chapter thereto auth~)rizing and empowering the Common Council of
<br />the. City to issue and, sell negotiable bonds of the City to'the amount ofTwentyk
<br />five Thousand ($25,000~ Dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary for the
<br />purpose ,)f. purchasing new fire apparatus for the City,and to repeal Section
<br />of Chapter V, of the Charter of the City limiting the lndebtedr~ess to be created
<br />or contr'aeted by the City to Three Thousand ($3,(~00) Dollars," enacted by 'the
<br />electors of the City at.an election held July 2, 1924.
