The followln~:resolution wa,~ offered and on motion, was unanimously adopted: <br /> <br /> Whereas the C$~y of Eugene has surveyed out amd desires to lay. & sewer line <br />through certaln'prOpsrtles, lnoludln~ Block B. of ~he original pia~ of <br /> <br /> Wherea~, there a~e no' alleys through said block amd the City desires a right <br />of way for~'said sewer, and <br /> <br /> Whereas, C.O. Peterson owns most of said Block amd is using his said Property <br />for a wocdyard and no sewer service l~ requl~ed thereon. <br /> <br /> ' 'IT IS'T~EN~,0~E 9~0LVED, by the Commou Council of ~he city ~f ~ene, that <br />Me~or'~nd ~e~o~de~a~e'~r~b~(direeted to ente~ into a cont~t' on behalf o~ the <br />0~t~ w~h 0;0, P~t~son to tPe effect' that the city ~haI1 have a right of w~ ~d <br />right 6~ matntenan~e across ~afd property owned bY him without charge, and that <br />t~e assessment'for said ~provement shall be assessed ratably ~ainst said property <br />'and U.O. Day for a cor- <br />ner off from Lot 1~ Block 10, Falrmount ama that he waspresentlng am Ordinance for <br />passage pertalnin~ therefor. <br /> <br />· recommended such p~tition.~be granted. <br /> ed. · <br /> <br /> A petition wa~ received to grade and gravel the alley between 10th amd llth <br />Avenues from Monroe to Adams Streets.. Said matter was referred to _the Street <br />Committee which recommended such petition be granted.
