R ES0 LU T I 0 N. BE IT ~OLVED: by' the Common Council that the City of Eugene build .and ~onstruct a Storm Sewer between Ness and Vlllard Street from ~atrmount B1 d. to Longvlew Street, and BE IT ?URTHER RESOLVED that the said work be done by the City and that the same be paid out of the Trunk Sewer ~'und, and BE IT ?URTHEN RESOLVED, that the City Engineer immediately prepare plans and specifications for sUch improvement work and that the City Recorder advertise for competative bids for ~uch improv, ement work. The following resolution was offered and, onmotion, unanimously adopted: RESOLUTION. An estlmate for tHe Payment of the imProvement work on 19th Avenue from Hllyard Street to Falrmount Blvd. was made by the City Engineer and, on roll call ordered Pald in the sum of $49,752.~1, to W.W.Head. Am estimate for the Payment of the construction of a sewer on Charnelton Street from 19th to 22nd Avenues, was made by the City Engineer and, on roll call ordered paid in the sum of $11V1.~2 to Oscar Snewo An estimate for the payment o~ the construction of a sewer in the alley between 1st and 2n~ Ay.es.. from Polk Street sewer to the City Limits, was made by the City Engineer and, on roll call, ordered Paid la the sum of $2217.66 to 0 scar Snow, An estimate for the Payment of the imProvement work on l~th Avenue f~om Monroe to ~dams Streets, was made by the City Engineer and, on roll call ordered ~ald in the sum of $3010.79 to Oscar SnOw. An estimate for the payment of the improvement of 22nd Avenue from University to Columbia Sts. was made by the City Engineer and, on roll call, ordered paid in the s~n of $14,185.77 to Stlen Bros. The bill for $111.00 was ordered paid Stlen Bros. for sewerplpe furnished on 24th Avenue and Falrmount Sewer. A bill for $200.00 for legal services rendered the city~w~s presented approved as to $100.00 thereof by city Attorney Calkins and as~$ioo.oo thereof bY Mayor Lee. ~n motion by roll call, such bill waS.ordered paid. The City Engineer was, onmotion, dlreeted to prepare plans and specifications for bridges across the Amazon ditch at Olive and Charnelton Streets.
