On motion, the followin~ resolution was unanimously adopted:

<br /> Be It Resolved, by the Common Council of Eugene,Oregon, that the City
<br />construct a wooden b~ldge across the Amazon Ditch on Jefferson Street, and
<br />
<br /> Be It Further Resolved~ that the sa~work be done by the City and paid
<br />for the City out of such find as may be hereinafter determined, and
<br />
<br /> Be It Further Resolved, that the City Engineer Immediately prepare plans
<br />and specifications for such improvement work and that the City RecoRder adver-
<br />tise for competative bids for :~ueh work.

<br />On motion, the following resolution was offered, and unanimously adopted:

<br /> Be It Resolved by the Common Council of the City of Eugene, that the City
<br />- of Eugene build a sewer on the east side of Chambers Street from 8th Avenue to
<br /> the Amazon- .
<br />
<br /> Be It Further Resolved, that the. City Engineer immediately prepare plans
<br />and specifications for such improvement work, and the City Recorder advertise
<br />for competative, bids for such lmpro; ement '~ork.

<br />same be paid. for from the se~er fund.

<br /> expedl'~'nt' and'n~ oessary to open, lay out and establish Potter Street from
<br /> 23rd to 25th Avenues, and that the City Engineer be and is directed to make
<br /> a survey of the same, to mark the bomtdarles thereof, to make a plat thereof,
<br /> and make and file a written report containing a full and complete description
<br /> of such street and its boundaries, and of the portions of each lot, part of
<br /> lots or tract of land to be appropriated therefor. .

<br /> survey of the same, to mark the boundaries thereof, to make a plat thereof,
<br /> nd make and file a written report containing a full and complete description
<br /> f such street and its boundaries, and of the portions ®~ each lot, part of
<br />/lots or tract of land to be appropriated ther~ for.

<br /> Resolved, that the City of e, gene accept conveyance of Easement from
<br /> W. Eo Crews and Louisa'Crews for a right of way across his property lO feet east
<br /> side of a center line wMch is described as follows:
<br /> Beginning at a point 116~ 2eot south of the so,~th margin of 13th
<br /> Avenue and 1111 feet North 89~12~ West of the center line of
<br /> Chamber's Street which be~inhlng p'olnt is 806 feet south of the
<br /> South line of Lot 7, Block 19, Chamber's Addition and running
<br /> thence North 32~30~ West 807 feet, thence north 72~30~ West 308
<br /> feet, to a point 91 feet east of the southwest corner of Lot 6,
<br /> Block 21, Chamber's Addition, above description being the coster.
<br /> line of a ditch 20 feet Wide 10 feet on em~h side of said line,
<br /> said right of way being for the purpose of widening and straighten-
<br /> ing the Amazon Slough.

<br /> The Mayor andYRecorder shall execute said contract on behalf of the City and the
