On motion, such deeds were <br />accepted. <br /> <br /> A deed Was presented to the city by 0mcr and ~ita Vadnais for a right of way <br />for stOmm sewer ad~Taoent to Lot 2, Block 22, ?alrmoun%. On mot'ion such deed was <br />accepted. <br /> <br /> A deed was presented to the city by ~.J. and Sallie L Gaayum for an alley <br />between 10th and [[th Avenues and west ~20 feet from Van Buren Street. 0n motion <br />such deed was accepted. <br /> <br />A plat of Subdivision of Block 2, of Kln~aid Park was preseno ed for approv&l. <br /> <br /> Mayor Lee spoke on the question of betterMilk Inspection and presented sam- <br />ples of poor milk and he suggested we try and budget $1500.00 for that purpose. <br />He also called for individual expressions from the Councilmen as to the matter. <br />After discussion all. informally expressed themselves in favor of such inspection. <br /> <br /> The Recorder was instructed to write the wentworth, Irwin Co. of Portland <br />as to the ~lusher we purchased on August 23rd,1926. <br /> <br /> Am Ordinance levying assessments for the construction of a sewer between <br />Lawrence amd Washington Streets fzo. m Cheshire Avenue North thru block, was read <br />the first time and laid over. <br /> <br /> An 0rdinanoe levying asse.~sments for paving 15th Avenue from Willamette to <br />Olive Sis,, was read the first time and laid over. <br /> <br /> An 0rdlnanoe lev~fng assessments for paving Olive St. from 13th to ,[tth <br />Aves., was read the first time and laid over. <br /> <br />1926, An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $90,000.00 Sewer bonds, <br /> was read the first time and passed its second and third readings by title <br />by unanimous consent under suspension of the rule and was p~Aoed on ltsflnal <br />p. assage.
