' <br /> <br /> The Judiciary Committee presented an Ordinance based on the Petition to <br />regulate carnivals snd other tra{~elllng shows whloh ordinance is, for the <br />regulatio~ of eircus~s, menagerlss, carnivalS, tent shows ~d othe~ dui door <br />~usements an,l enterbalmne~ts conduot~i ~or profit and said ordinance w~ laid <br />over an,l referred to the Judlel~y Co~mnittee and C~by Attorney. <br /> <br /> The ~tnance Co~um~ittee recommended the following estknates for street <br />i~provement be allowed: ' <br /> Stle~ Bros. 23r~ Ave. from ~ald ~o Col~bia Sts. $~630.~1. <br /> W.W. Co., 9th Ave. from V~ Burea to Tyle~ Sis., $2726.55. <br /> <br />On roll call ~ueh report was u~lmously <br /> <br /> The Stree~ Co~unittee teach,mended the petition to grade and gravel ~_5th <br />Avenue West of University Avenue about 150 feet, be granted. On ~otion such <br />report wa~ adopted. <br /> <br /> The Street Committee recommended the petition to build a walk about ~00 <br />feet long on the North sid~ of Cross Street from Polk Street West be grant,d, <br />but t'hat the Petition to grade and gravel said 9t~eet from Po~k Street .to <br />Railroad Blvd be denied for leek of sufficient petitioners. On motion such <br />report was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> The Street Cmmulttee reported it is not resiy to report on the petition <br />to grade and gravel the alley' between i.~:m,~rald and Onyx Sis. from 22nd to 23rd <br />Av ~nU es o <br /> <br /> The Street Committee ~eported the walks petttione<l for by Robert Merrell <br />near B'~lrmcunt Blvd., have been taken care <br /> <br /> The Street Co~m~ittee reported favorably on the petition to pave 2nd Ave- <br />nue from Van Buren Street to Blair Blvd., On motion such report was adopted. <br /> <br />The Fire and Water, Police and Print'lng Committees had no report to make. <br /> <br /> The Health{ Committee reported on the Comfort Station and moved the Clt2 <br />Attorney set a date and notify the contractor such bulldlng must be done by <br />that date.
