The vote on the motion was 2:1; Mayor Piercy voting no. <br /> <br />House Bill 2075 <br /> <br />With the mayor’s concurrence, Ms. Wilson indicated she would draft an e-mail from the mayor to <br />Representative Phil Barnhart regarding the bill, which would be the subject of a work session the next day. <br />She noted the committee had previously taken a position of Priority 1 Support on the bill. <br /> <br />United States Senate Bill 543/House Resolution 1002 (Wireless Tax Fairness Act of 2011) <br /> <br />Ms. Wilson asked that the mayor discuss reductions to the Community Development Block Grant as well as <br />the impacts of Senate Bill 543/House Resolution 1002, which would impose a wireless tax moratorium, with <br />Senator Jeff Merkley at their March 19 meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Clark, seconded by Mayor Piercy, moved to adopt the staff recommendation for <br />priorities and recommendations for all bills not pulled for discussion for this meeting and <br />the committee action for all bills that were discussed and acted on at this meeting. The <br />motion passed unanimously, 3:0. <br /> <br /> <br />4.
