Ensure than development occurring within river and waterway corridors is responsive to and provides protection of these valuable natural assets. 3. Encourage, where appropriate and in keeping with Greenway goals, development that respects the quality of rivers and waterways, and provides a variety of opportunities for enjoyment of those resources by the public., 4. Encourage coordinated water planni and the development of the area's waterways, where appropriate as part of the area's open space and park system . Pnliripq 1.
