constructed in a manner that is sturdy enough to prevent escape and access to <br />their interiors by unauthorized persons. <br />(3) Proper sanitation shall be maintained at all times. Proper sanitation includes: <br />(a) Not allowing wildlife waste to adversely affect the health of the wildlife <br />itself, property residents, or neighbors. <br />(b) Taking necessary steps to ensure odors are not detectable beyond property <br />lines. <br />(c) Storing all wildlife food in rodent and pest resistant containers. <br />(4) The center shall not be designed or used for exotic or domestic animals. <br />(5) Bears, wolves and cougars are prohibited, along with any other carnivores over <br />80 pounds in weight. <br />(6) At least 1 person licensed by the state of Oregon as a wildlife rehabilitator or <br />conducting wildlife rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed <br />rehabilitator must occupy the property. <br />(7) If the property is changed in zone and wildlife care centers are not a permitted <br />use, the use must be discontinued within 2 years. <br />(S) wildlife restored to a condition whereby it can be released and survive under <br />natural conditions shall be removed from the property after a reasonable amount <br />of time. wildlife that cannot be expected to survive under natural conditions <br />may be retained for off -site wildlife education, or to assist in the rehabilitation <br />of other animals, provided required state and federal licenses and permits are <br />obtained. <br />(9) Also see Animal Regulations in EC Chapter 4 and Nuisance regulations in EC <br />Chapter 6. <br />General Standards for All Development <br />General <br />9.6000 Purpose and Applicability Unless otherwise provided in sections 9.6000 through <br />9.6870 of this land use code, those sections describe the general standards. that apply <br />to the entire development site at the time of any development. <br />Bicycle Parking Standards <br />_ ' r <br />cycle Parking Staards.
