(m) Heliports and Helistops. <br />(n) Veterinarian Services (includes pound). <br />(o) Race Tracks, including drag strips and go -cart tracks. <br />(p) Broadcasting Studios, including commercial and public education. <br />(q) Sewage Treatment Plants. <br />(4) The physical area of the development site to be evaluated during the site review <br />or conditional use permit process, when required according to the above <br />subsections, shall be based on the portion of the development site specifically <br />occupied by the proposed use and the surrounding 100 feet. <br />9.2684 Public Land Zone Development Standards. <br />(1) Application of Standards. In addition to applicable provisions contained <br />elsewhere in this code, the development standards listed in Table 9.2684 and <br />subsections (2) and (3) of this section shall apply to all development in the PL <br />public land zone. In cases of conflict, the standards specifically applicable in <br />the PL zone shall apply. <br />(2) For uses pernutted under EC 9.2682(1)(c), the following additional standards <br />apply: <br />(a) Traffic and parking impacts and the capacity of adjacent streets shall be <br />considered in the design and location of internal circulation and parking <br />areas, including entrances and exits. <br />(b) If possible, school playgrounds shall be retained for public recreational <br />use. <br />(c) The process used by the public agency that owns the property to determine <br />whether a particular use shall be permitted on property not currently <br />needed shall assure that neighborhood residents and property owners in the <br />area have the opportunity to review and comment on the new proposed <br />use. <br />(d) At least once every 10 years, the public agency that owns the property <br />shall review its current needs.
