<br />II.Goals <br /> <br />To provide a regional forum for improving our economic health, providing affordable <br /> <br /> <br />housing, and increasing transportation choices; <br />To build regional and organizational capacity for sustainable community planning and <br /> <br /> <br />development; <br />To better integrate core community planning functions, especially in the areas of affordable <br /> <br /> <br />housing, economic development and transportation; <br />To make our public engagement programs more effective by ensuring outreach is equitable <br /> <br /> <br />and inclusive; <br />To incorporate emerging public policy issues such as public health and climate change into <br /> <br /> <br />our existing regional plan for sustainable development; <br />To identify infrastructure investment strategies that use our limited public resources wisely <br /> <br /> <br />and sustainably for multiple community benefits; <br />To identify ways of monitoring and measuring progress towards sustainable community <br /> <br /> <br />outcomes; and <br />To consistently incorporate evaluation and learning opportunities into our work. <br /> <br /> <br />III.Roles/Commitments <br /> <br />The Consortium will work together to successfully carry out the activities within the general <br />timing outlined in the Lane Livability’s Work Plan (see Attachment A). Specific work plan <br />deliverables, milestones, and schedules will be more fully developed by the Consortium. <br />Consortium member agencies will designate a primary and a backup delegate to serve as points <br />1 <br />of contact for their agency and to participate in the Consortium Steering Committee meetings. <br />The Project Manager will work with Consortium participants to develop a communication plan <br />that ensures accountability to policymakers and decision-makers of respective Parties, including <br />providing regular reports and updates, as needed. <br />Any Consortium member may terminate its membership in the Partnership upon written notice <br />from the organization’s Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer. Before any Consortium <br />member terminates their participation in this agreement, the Consortium member agrees to <br />give the Consortium notice of its desire to withdraw and reasons for withdrawal to the <br />Consortium. All Consortium members commit to work to preserve the Consortium, and <br />wherever it is consistent with the goals of the Consortium, to accommodate the concerns of <br />any member who is seeking to withdraw, in order to prevent such a withdrawal and preserve <br />the Consortium.
