At the end of 12 months, an employee's <br />salary is reduced to tae highest step of the pay range for the new classification. <br />General pay adjustmen" are not given to red- circled employees, until the employee's <br />salary is within the pay rang'e of the current classification. <br />Change from Non - Represented to Bargaining Unit Position <br />At the time a non - represented position is reclassified to a bargaining unit position with a <br />lower pay range, the employee becomes a member of the bargaining unit and receives <br />the benefits appropriate to the bargaining unit. The employee's salary is red- circled in <br />accordance with this policy. <br />Change in Range Due to Market Study <br />If a market salary study indicates that a classification's pay range needs to be lowered, <br />employees in this classification are red- circled in accordance with this policy. <br />
