Career <br />Posting the Career Career Development .Assignments may be posted City- <br />Development Assignment wide or within a department. The decision to post an <br />assignment is made by the hiring department or division. <br />Pay During Career Development Employees remain at their current pay level during a <br />Assignment Career Development Assignment. In most instances, the <br />department receiving the employee pays his/her salary and <br />the home department continues to pay the benefits <br />Recruitment and Selection 1. Recruitment and Selection staff will maintain a list of <br />Assistance employees interested in Career Development <br />Assignments. <br />2. Recruitment and Selection staff will provide specific <br />job information about Career Development <br />Assignments and assistance in evaluating whether <br />assignments support an employee's career goals. <br />3. Recruitment and Selection staff will assist employees <br />in preparing their resumes and will suggest interview <br />preparations resources. <br />I believe the Career Development Plan helped me reach my goal of climbing the Maintenance Worker <br />ladder.
