Career <br />Eligibility 1. Regular full- or part-time 'employees who have <br />completed their probationary periods. <br />2. Employees must be performing at a satisfactory level <br />in their current positions. <br />3. An employee may participate in only one Career <br />Development Assignment at a time. <br />4. Normally, an employee may complete only one Career <br />Development Assignment every 18 months. <br />Exceptions may be made if <br />a) No other employee applies or meets <br />minimum requirements for the next Career <br />Development Assignment. <br />b) The executive director of the home <br />department approves the additional Career <br />Development Assignment. <br />Application Process To be considered for a Career Development Assignment, <br />employees must submit the following: <br />• City of Eugene Career Development application <br />form (blue) with supervisor's signature <br />• City of Eugene employment application <br />• Career Development Plan (if on fd8) <br />•. Letter and/or resume with supplemental <br />information relevant to the assignment. <br />A Career Development Plan that includes clearly stated <br />career goals may enhance your competitiveness for a. <br />Career Development Assignment.
