• � 1 <br />4.1 Record Release <br />The City of Eugene will maintain all records regarding the drug and/or alcohol testing of covered <br />employees in a secure manner to ensure disclosure of information to unauthorized persons does <br />not occur. The City will only release information regarding the drug and/or alcohol testing of <br />covered employees to those individuals, and in those circumstances, as specified in the Federal <br />regulations. <br />All applicants or transferees are required to sign a release of information directed to their <br />previous DOT regulated employers that requires the provision of the individual's Drug and <br />Alcohol testing records for the prior two years. The applicant or transferee is required to inform <br />the City of Eugene of any positive drug pre - employment tests or refusal -to -test for pre- <br />employment drug tests for any DOT regulated potential employer. If an applicant has a positive, <br />pre - employment drug test for another DOT regulated potential employer, or a positive drag test <br />for a DOT regulated employer, the application will be rejected by the City unless the applicant <br />has successfully completed return-to -duty procedures.
