To clarify the conditions of employment to prospective employees, a written job offer is <br />required for regular, limited duration, and temporary- hourly positions, and for <br />promotions or voluntary transfers to another classification or movement from one pay <br />unit to another. The job offer letter must be signed by the applicant before the <br />employee starts to work. Templates for Job Offer letters are available on -line through <br />the link below or through the Recruitment & Selection section of the intranet. <br />Recruiting Regular (Full - time /Part -time) Employees <br />Generally, all regular full- time, regular part-time positions, and limited duration positions <br />must go through a competitive recruitment process. Most positions are posted <br />externally; however, some positions may meet the Internal Posting Guidelines, outlined <br />in the link below, and be posted internally in the organizatio '" Hiring managers in <br />consultation with Human Resources determine the most a!' riate posting strategy for <br />their vacancy. All internal postings for positions must t p 11or a minimum of 7 <br />days, and all external postings must be posted for a minimu 1,�I days. Limited <br />duration and temporary employees are not eligible for transfers. Supervisors may fill a <br />vacant position with a transfer. This can occur in one of the following ways: <br />A.
