If the position is <br />budgeted as part-time, arid.,there is a continued need for a full -time employee beyond <br />x6V <br />the 6 months limit, the department needs to obtain Budget approval to change the <br />position from part-time to full -time. Once approved, the employee's status continues as <br />full -time. <br />Regular, Scheduled Part -Time Employees Working Extra Hours in a Temporary <br />Job <br />A part-time employee may work additional hours in a temporary job doing work that is <br />different from the work that the employee is normally paid to do.
