3. Final Report--Discuss and Edit

Ms. Smith led members on a page-by-page review of the final report. Members offered
suggestions for revisions and additions to the report, which were recorded by Mr. Moore and Ms.
Fifield. The committee agreed to include a summary of the enterprise zone subcommittee
process as an addendum to the report.

4. Vote on Final Report

Members agreed that, due to a lack of time, staff would disseminate the final report in its original
and revised forms via e-mail and create an electronic voting procedure for the vote on the final
report. Ms. Rygas asked that staff clarify who votes, and to give members three days to identify
errors and omissions in the document. Mr. Moore noted that the final report must be done by
July 31 to be forwarded to the council in time for its scheduled discussion.

5. Presentation to City Council--When, Who, and How

Mr. Moore reported the final report would be discussed by the council on August 9. Planning
and Development Director Tom Coyle would provide an introduction to the report, and Ms.
Smith would review the committee's recommendations.

The meeting adjoumed at noon.

(Recorded by Kimberly Young)

MINUTES--Mayor's Committee on Economic Development July 9, 2004 Page 2
