PROMBITION OF CURB CUTS AND STREET PARKING <br />In order to protect the ' publi c investment in arterial highways <br />and to insure the rapid and safe movement of traffic, curb cuts and <br />parking (other than emergency parrki *g) on certain main thoroughfares, <br />' as listed below, is hereafter prohibited, <br />Mill Street -- Ferry Street Bridge connection between <br />Broadway and Ferry Street Brid e. <br />SECTION XXVII MOVING OF BUILDINGS OR STRUCTURES ` <br />r Before a permit is issued for a building or structure to be moved <br />from one lot to another within the 'City, or moved into the City from - <br />• - an area not wi thin the City Limits,' a five hundred dollar ( 0500 ) bond <br />must be posted with • the City, and the Building Inspector must deter— <br />mine that the building or structure will meet the following require+ <br />S , tent s : . <br />. 1. The use for which the building was designed, and the <br />intended use, s hall •be in keep3;ng with the zone or district <br />into which the building is moved . r <br />' 2. The building shall meet all the requirements of the City <br />of Eugene's building, fire, and sanitation codes* <br />The a ected usable lif e of the building shall• be not more <br />J� than fifty (501 percent - expended . <br />4. The building or structure is in keeping with or not . <br />' detrimental to the character acid welfare of the area into which = <br />— it is to be moved. r <br />5. Inspector <br />SECTION X VIII. • ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT <br />A . BUILDING INSPECTOR <br />1. It shall be the duty of-the Building Inspector to see <br />that this Ordinance is enforced through the proper legal channels. <br />He shall issue no permit for the construction or alteration of <br />1 any building or part thereof unless the plans, specifications, ... <br />- - and intended use of such building conform in all respects to 'the • . <br />provisions of this Ordinance. . <br />h <br />r : , <br />2 .
