Mr. Farr stated that he believed hundreds of hours of council members time had been spent in the process to develop and adopt the budget. <br />He said he wanted to express appreciation to the City Manager and all of the City staff who had spent thousands of hours to develop the <br />budget. He said he felt the proposed budget was the best document that could be produced in light of current circumstances. <br /> <br />The motion to approve amended Resolution 4525 was adopted, 6:1, with Councilor Taylor voting opposed. <br /> <br />Ms. Elmer stated that the council would consider Resolution 4526, relating to State Revenue Sharing. <br /> <br />Res. No. 4525--A resolution electing to receive State Revenue Sharing funds pursuant to Section 221.770 of Oregon Revised <br />Statutes. <br /> <br />Mr. Far moved, seconded by Ms. Nathanson, that Resolution 4526 be approved. The motion was adopted <br />unanimously, 7:0. <br /> <br />Mr. Laue left the room at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey adjourned the meeting of the Eugene City Council and convened a meeting of the Eugene Urban Renewal Agency. <br /> <br /> <br /> VI. PUBLIC HEARING: RESOLUTION CONCERNING URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET <br /> <br />Ms. Elmer announced that the council was scheduled to hold a pubic hearing on a resolution adopting a Supplemental Budget for the Urban <br />Renewal Agency for fiscal year 1996-97. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey determined members had no questions regarding the supplemental budget proposal. <br /> <br />Mayor Torrey opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There being no requests to speak, Mayor Torrey closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Ms. Elmer stated that the council would consider Resolution 989 relating to the Urban Renewal Agency’s Supplemental Budget. <br /> <br />Res. No. 989--A resolution adopting a Supplemental Budget: making appropriations for the Urban Renewal Agency for the Fiscal <br />Year beginning July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved, seconded by Ms. Nathanson that Resolution 989 be approved. The motion was adopted <br />unanimously, 6:0, Mr. Laue being absent from the room at the time of the vote. <br /> <br /> <br /> VII.
