<br /> (d) The minimum area and width requirements shall not apply to either
<br />single-family or two-family dwellings established in an RG-RCP zone. Minimum
<br />average area and width requirements for single and two-family dwellings are as set forth
<br />in LC 16.250.
<br /> (15) Telecommunication Towers. Notwithstanding the requirements in
<br />LC 16.230(1)-(3) above, telecommunication facilities are allowed subject to compliance
<br />with the requirements of LC 16.264 and with applicable requirements elsewhere in LC
<br />Chapter 16 including but not necessarily limited to: the riparian vegetation protection
<br />standards in LC 16.253; Floodplain Combining Zone (LC 16.244); Willamette Greenway
<br />Development Permits (LC 16.254); the Coastal Resource Management Combining Zones
<br />(LC 16.234, 16.235, 16.236, 16.237, 16.238, 16.239, 16.240, 16.241, 16.242, or 16.243);
<br />Federal or State of Oregon inventories and regulations applicable to delineated wetlands
<br />and waters of the nation or state; the Commercial Airport Safety Combining Zone (LC
<br />16.245) and the Airport Safety Combining Zone (LC 16.246); and the Sensitive Bird
<br />Habitat protection Standards and Criteria in LC 16.005(4).

<br />RURAL RESIDENTIAL LANDS ZONE (RR-RCP)
<br />RURAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
<br />16.231 Rural Residential Lands Zone (RR-RCP).
<br /> (1) Purpose. The purpose of the Rural Residential Zone (RR-RCP) is:
<br /> (a) To provide opportunities for people to live in a rural area.
<br /> (b) To allow primary and accessory residential uses, and nonresidential
<br />uses which may be compatible with primary residential uses.
<br /> (c)To implement the policies of the Rural Comprehensive Plan,
<br />primarily those policies related to the residential development of areas identified as
<br />committed, built upon, or as nonresource land.
<br /> (d) To provide protective measures for riparian vegetation along Class I
<br />streams designated as significant in the Rural Comprehensive Plan.
<br /> (2) Permitted Uses. The following uses and activities are permitted subject to
<br />the general provisions and exceptions specified by this chapter of Lane Code:
<br /> (a) One single-family dwelling, mobile home, or duplex on a legal lot.
<br /> (b) A single-family dwelling or mobile home on a legal lot, in addition
<br />to the above, to provide residence for an immediate family member or members of the
<br />owner, provided that the minimum average density per residential unit (i.e., residences in
<br />relationship to acreages: one, two, five or 10 acres, whichever is specified by the zoning
<br />map) is maintained, and proper sanitation approvals are obtained.
<br /> (c)One manufactured dwelling in conjunction with an existing dwelling
<br />as a temporary use for the term of a hardship suffered by the existing resident or a
<br />relative of the resident subject to compliance with the following conditions:
<br /> (i)The existing resident or a relative of the existing resident
<br />suffers a hardship and needs the care of another person living nearby.
<br /> (ii)To qualify as a relative of the existing resident, a person shall
<br />be the wife, husband, son, daughter, mother, father, brother, brother-in-law, sister, sister-
<br />in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law,father-in-law, aunt, uncle, niece,
<br />nephew, stepparent, stepchild, grandparent or grandchild of the existing resident.
<br /> (iii)Satisfactory evidence of the hardship is furnished which shall
