Invitations would be sent out this week to our local legislative delegation, <br />and to Mayors, City Councilors, and other interested parties. <br /> <br />Ms. Osborn discussed the Bloomberg Philanthropies Mayors Challenge – a competition to generate <br />innovative ideas among cities with populations of 30,000 and up. Staff has started the inquiry process, but <br />full details will not be available until August about whether this constitutes an award or a grant, and whether <br />any matching amount would be required.
