<br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />Option 1: Direct the City Manager to tear down the existing facility and pursue a new City Hall design <br />on the current site. <br /> <br />Option 2: Direct the City Manager to pursue a City Hall design on the current site to retain as much of <br />the existing site as possible. <br /> <br />Option 3: Direct the City Manager to pursue a City Hall design on the current site with the goal of <br />retaining the Council Chamber, existing parking (to the extent possible) and public art, as well as any <br />other components that make sense from an operational or design standpoint. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Direct the City Manager to pursue a City Hall design on the current site with the goal of retaining the <br />Council Chamber, existing parking (to the extent possible) and public art as well as any other <br />components that make sense from an operational or design standpoint. If the council chooses any of the <br />options above, staff will be requesting $750,000 to complete this phase of work. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br /> <br />Direct the City Manager to pursue a City Hall design on the current site with the goal of retaining the <br />Council Chamber, existing parking (to the extent possible) and public art as well as any other <br />components that make sense from an operational or design standpoint.
