EXHIBIT B
REVISIONS TO THE DRAFT WILLAKENZIE AREA PLAN
The revisions listed below include those recommended and approved by the
Eugene City Council on June 8, 1992. Additions to the plan are shown with
underlines; deletions are shown with <brackets >.
Land Use Element
1. (Willakenzie Land Use Diagram) Amend the Final Draft version of the
Willakenzie Land Use Diagram adding a line to the map to indicate the
location of the Willamette River Greenway. This would allow the user to
see the location of the Greenway relative to the underlying land use
designation.
2. (Page 16, General Residential Policies and Proposed Actions) Add the
following policy and proposed action; renumber subsequent policies and
proposed actions as necessary:
2. Require new medium density residential development in the
Willakenzie area to achieve a minimum density level of 10
dwelling units per acre and new high density residential de-
velopment to achieve a minimum density level of 15 dwelling
units per acre. If a future citywide code amendment estab-
lishes different minimum density levels than are established
in this plan, the levels established in the code will take
precedence, except in the Chase Gardens High Density Residen-
tial area. Development in this area shall achieve a minimum
density level of no less than 15 dwelling units per acre.
2.1 Amend the Eugene code to establish minimum density re-
quirements for medium and high density residential devel-
opment within the Eugene Urban Growth Boundary. The
suggested minimum density requirements are 10 DU /Acre for
areas designated Medium Density Residential and 15
DU /Acre for areas desiqnated Hiqh Density Residential.
-1-
