(Page 112, Street Improvement Projects List) Add the following <br />projects to the list of collector street improvements and renumber im- <br />provement projects as necessary: <br />Jeppesen Acres, Gilham Road to Providence - Upgrade to a 2 lane <br />urban facility with curbs and sidewalks. <br />Satre /Van Duyn, Bailey Lane to Harlow Road - Upgrade Satre, (Bailey <br />Lane to Bailey Court,) and Van Duyn (Western Drive to Harlow Road) <br />to a 2 lane urban facility with curbs, sidewalks, and bike lanes. <br />Construct sidewalks on Satre, Bailey Court to Western Drive. Traf- <br />fic signal controls need to be evaluated for the Van Duyn and <br />Harlow Road intersection. <br />44. (Page 112, Street Improvements Project List) Delete projects # 25 (b) <br />and (c) (Future East -West Collectors) and add a new project (b) to pro- <br />vide for a through streeet rather than a discontinuous street and to <br />read as follows: <br />b) Propose new collector street south of Gilham School from Gilham <br />Road to County Farm Road. During the street design process, staff <br />shall work with the Cal Young Neighborhood Association to address <br />safety, speed, school proximity and park proximity issues; and to <br />consider design alternatives that would restrict a portion of the <br />street to transit use only. <br /><b) Propose new collector street south of Gilham School from Gilham <br />Road to the east, separate from c. below, but connected with bicy- <br />cle /pedestrian /emergency access.> <br /><c) Propose new collector street south of Gilham School from County <br />Farm Road west, separate from b. above, but connected with bicy- <br />cle /pedestrian /emergen cy access.> <br />-11- <br />
