Attachment C - Application Materials <br />... <br />This proposal is consistent with Residential Land Use and Housin Element Policy <br />3 of the Metropolitan Plan (Page III - A - 4), which encourages increasing the <br />supply of residential land in the metropolitan area. The applicant's proposed <br />intent, to develop a private golf course, is also consistent with Policy 4 of <br />the Parks a nd Rec reation Facilities Element of the Metropolitan Plan (Page III - <br />H-5), which encourages the development of private recreational facilities. <br />There are no other examples of Metropolitan Plan policies or text which are <br />relevant to the requested zone change. <br />S ection 9.G78(2)(c) The proposed zone change is consistent <br />vrith applicable adopted neighborhood refinement plans, special <br />area studies, and functional plans. In the event of <br />inconsistencies between these plans or studies and the <br />Me:,ropolitan Area General Plan, the latter is the prevailing <br />document. <br />The area of the request is not located within the boundaries of a neighborhood <br />refinement plan or special area of study. There are no functional plans which <br />specifically address the subject property. However, this application wa% <br />referred to the nearest neighborhood group, the Ca Young Neighborhood <br />Organization.
