Attachment C - Application Materials <br />Annexation of I7- 03 -07 -00 Tax Lots 305 (part) and 306 (part) Page 2 <br />January 3. 2006 <br />I. Land Use Request <br />Eric and Deborah Jeffries hereby submit an application for annexation of approximately 32 acres <br />of property to the City of Eugene. Specifically, this request is for annexation approval at the next <br />hearing February 2, 2006. <br />The property is located in the Willakenzie area of North Eugene, north of Ayres Road and west <br />of North Delta Highway. The proposed annexation area is immediately northwest and adjacent <br />to an area previously annexed to the City of Eugene (Attachment B - Vicinity Map). The <br />annexation site is within the boundaries of the Willakenzie Area Plan (WAP). <br />The subject property is within the urban growth boundary and is able to be served by the orderly <br />extension of key urban services. The property is the site of McKenzie - Willamette's planned <br />medical center. The site's opportunities and constraints will be thoroughly analyzed during the <br />design process. <br />II. Site Information <br />Required Application Information <br />Under ORS 199.490 proposals for annexation of territory to the City of Eugene may be initiated <br />before the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission by a property owner. Per <br />Eugene City Council Resolution No. 4358 (adopted January 25, 1993) the applicant is pursuing <br />the Boundary Commission annexation process. <br />Location <br />The property subject to this application lies west of North Delta Highway and north of Ayres <br />Road. The proposed annexation area is immediately northwest and adjacent to an area <br />previously annexed to the City of Eugene. The existing "Handle" portion of pan handle- shaped Tax Lot <br />305, and existing north edge of Tax Lot 306 are also not included in this application as they <br />contain the entrance drive and some of the parking lot for RiverRidge Golf Complex. Two <br />Property line adjustment applications have been submitted to ensure that the annexed area <br />contains legal lots (Attachment J).
