<br />G. Evidence exists within the record and the findings attached hereto establishing that <br />the proposal meets the requirements of Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and the requirements of <br />applicable state and local law. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE <br /> <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. In accordance with the Eugene Planning Commission recommendation, the street <br />name of the 3rd/4th Connector that extends east from Lincoln Street to Pearl Street within the city of <br />Eugene, as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby changed to "Shelton McMurphey <br />Boulevard." <br /> <br />Section 2. The above findings, and the findings set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto are <br />adopted in support of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Manager is directed to cause appropriate signs to be installed indicating <br />that the 3rd/4th Connector, as described in Section 1 above, is now Shelton McMurphey Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 4. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Lane County Recorder, <br />the Lane County Assessor, and the Lane County Surveyor. <br /> <br />Section 5. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this Ordinance is <br />for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such portion <br />shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions thereof. <br /> <br />Passed by the City Council this <br /> <br />Approved by the Mayor this <br /> <br />_day of <br /> <br />, 2006 <br /> <br />_day of <br /> <br />, 2006 <br /> <br />City Recorder <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Ordinance - 2 <br />
