Johnny
-----Original Message-----
From: ruth anne paul [mailto:ra1uha@yahoo.com]
Sent: Saturday, April 08, 2006 1:16 PM
To: MEDLIN Johnny R
Subject: Re: monday -April 10- city forum

Golden Garden Parks needs to be developed now. The money needs to be
appropriated for the feasibility study as well as for a 100 foot strip on the west side for
grading. We would like more land to be purchased to expand the park. An issue not
related to the park but makes Golden Gardens Park having been ignored all these
years even more of a travesty is pushing up the agenda for removing the trees along
Oakway Road after someone got run over because of the damage to sidewalks and
road from the trees' root system. The trees were removed and sidewalks repaired in a
short time but Golden Gardens Park has been ignored for many years and four boys
have drowned there. How many lives does it take??? Also, The intersection at Barger
and the Beltline was improved after 'only' two children died as a result of insufficient
crossings...... Thank you for your attention to this problem and solutions to
it.....Sincerely, Ruth Anne Paul

Love cheap thrills?
