VOTER INFORMATION <br /> <br /> Eugene Voters' Pamphlet Information <br /> <br />Your Eugene Voters' Pamphlet was produced by the City of Eugene at the <br />direction of the Eugene City Council. <br /> <br />In accordance with Eugene City Code, the Eugene Voters' Pamphlet is to <br />contain: <br /> <br />(a) the ballot title, question, statement and text of each city measure to be <br /> submitted to Eugene voters at the election for which the pamphlet is <br /> prepared; <br />(b) the ballot title, question, statement and text of each school district <br /> measure to be submitted to district voters at the election for which a <br /> pamphlet is being prepared, (this would only occur if the city produced a <br /> pamphlet for city measures or candidates) <br />(c) one argument in favor of each measure, followed by a rebuttal, and one <br /> argument in opposition, followed by a rebuttal; <br />(d) additional arguments filed by citizens in support of or in opposition to the <br /> measure, accompanied by the signatures of 300 electors of the City <br /> supporting the argument or by a fee of $300; <br />(e) statements and/or photographs from the candidates who chose to be in <br /> the pamphlet and paid the $100 fee; <br />(f) other 9eneral information about the election process. <br /> <br /> Mail Ballot Voter Information <br /> <br />The November 2, 2004, General Election will be conducted by mail ballot. <br />All ballots must be received in the Lane County Elections office or at <br />a designated drop site by 8:00 p,m. on election night. Postmarks do <br />not count.
