No. 4068--A resolution furthering annexation to the City <br /> of the Eugene and the Lane County Metropolitan <br /> Service District for the property located on <br /> the west side of River Road, between Bauer Lane <br /> and Hansen Lane. <br /> Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to adopt the <br /> resolution. Roll call vote; the motion carried 6:1 with <br /> Councilors Bascom, Bennett, Miller, Rutan, Schue, and <br /> Wooten voting aye, and Councilor Holmer voting nay. <br /> AZ 87-11--A final order rezoning property located on the west <br /> side of River Road, between Bauer Lane and Hansen Lane <br /> from County RA/UL to City R-1 and designation of <br /> Residential Sign District. <br /> Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, to approve final order <br /> AZ 87-11. Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously <br />e 7:0. <br /> Mr. Bennett asked Mr. Holmer why he is voting against the annexations. <br /> Mr. Holmer said he is opposed to the "spot annexation" method being taken by <br /> the council. <br /> C. City Of Eugene Supplemental Budget No.2 <br /> City Manager Mike Gleason introduced the item. He said Warren Wong, Finance <br /> Director, is available to answer council questions. <br /> Mayor Obie opened the public hearing. Hearing no requests to testify, Mayor <br /> Obie closed the public hearing. <br /> CB No. 3009--An ordinance adopting a Supplemental Budget; making <br /> appropriations for the City of Eugene for the <br /> Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 1987, and ending June <br /> 30, 1988; and declaring an emergency. <br /> Mr. Holmer moved, seconded by Ms. Schue, that the bill be <br /> read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous <br /> consent of the council, and that enactment be considered at this <br /> time.
