Rezoning Request for Property Located East of Danebo Street, North <br />of West 11th Avenue, from PL Public Land to RA Low-Density Residential <br />District (City of Eugene: West Lawn Memorial Park) (Z 83-1) (map, <br />background information distributed) <br /> <br />Mr. Gleason introduced Jim Croteau, Planning Department. Mr. Croteau said <br />that this rezoning had been initiated by the City for 37 acres on Danebo Street. <br />He noted that the land was presently zoned PL Public Land and that under the <br />provisions of the revised PL district, it was incumbent upon the City to initiate <br />changes in PL designations for properties not in public ownership. Mr. Croteau <br />said that the Planning Commission had voted unanimously to recommend approval of <br />the request. He noted that land surrounding the subject property was developed <br />with industrial uses.
