No. 3771--A resolution authorizing forwarding a recommenda- tion to the Boundary Commission for annexation of property located west of Terry Street between West 11th Avenue and the Coos Bay Branch of the Southern Pacific Railroad to the City of Eugene and the Lane County Metropolitan Wastewater Service District. Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that findings supporting the annexation as set forth in Planning Commission staff notes and minutes of April 5, 1983, be adopted by reference thereto; and that the resolution be adopted. Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. ' CB 2633--An ordinance authorizing rezoning from County ICU Indus- trial/Commercial Urbanizing District to City of Eugene I-I Special Industrial District and application of City Industrial Sign District for property located west of Terry Street between West 11th Avenue and the Coos Bay Branch of the Southern Pacific Railroad. Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that findings supporting the rezoning as set forth in Planning Commission staff notes and minutes of April 5, 1983, be adopted by reference thereto; that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the council; and that enactment be considered at this time. Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. Council Bill 2633 was read the second time by council bill number only. Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that the bill be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote. All councilors present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 19134. B. Rezoning Request for Property Located East of Danebo Street, North of West 11th Avenue, from PL Public Land to RA Low-Density Residential District (City of Eugene: West Lawn Memorial Park) (Z 83-1) (map, background information distributed) Mr. Gleason introduced Jim Croteau, Planning Department. Mr. Croteau said that this rezoning had been initiated by the City for 37 acres on Danebo Street. He noted that the land was presently zoned PL Public Land and that under the provisions of the revised PL district, it was incumbent upon the City to initiate changes in PL designations for properties not in public ownership. Mr. Croteau said that the Planning Commission had voted unanimously to recommend approval of the request. He noted that land surrounding the subject property was developed with industrial uses. He said that Planning Commission President Eleanor Mulder was not present, but he was available to answer questions on the Planning Commission discussion of this item.
