Barrett, 827 West 38th, term ending 1/1/81; <br />Jan Amundson, 938 East 22nd, reappointment for four-year term ending <br />1/1/82; Barbara McCarty, 1660 Stony Ridge, four-year term ending 1/1/82. <br /> <br />Electrical Board: Carrol Colvin, 1625 Braeman Village, reappoi~tment <br />for three-year term ending 1/1/81. <br /> <br />Library Board: Tom Gilbert, 1451 Waite, reappointment for four-year <br />term ending 1/1/82. <br /> <br />Sign Code Board of Appeals: Robert Anderson, 870 Lariat Drive, reappoint- <br />ment to three-year term ending 1/1/81; Helen Mancl, 1770 East 26th Avenue, <br />reappointment to three-year term ending 1/1/81. <br /> <br />Mr. Hamel moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to approve the appointments <br />for the Airport Commission, Electrical Board, Library Board, and <br />Sign Code Board of Appeals. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Keller distributed to Council recommendations for further <br />appointments at this meeting: <br /> <br />Charitable Solicitations Committee: Kathleen Lawlor, 65 West 36th, <br />four-year term ending 1/1/82. <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Plumbing Board: Jim Vos, 272 Van Buren Street, one-year term ending <br />1/1/79; Ed Bissonett, 315 East 36th, one-year term ending 1/1/79; <br />R. K. Livingston, 431 East 34th, one-year term ending 1/1/79. <br /> <br />Mr. Hamel moved, seconded by Mr. Delay, to approve the above <br />appointments. Motion carried with all Council members present <br />voting aye except Mr. Haws voting no. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws voted no because he wanted to study the appointment list for <br />a week. <br /> <br />D. Selection of City Auditor--Mayor Keller said there had been discussion <br />about the selection of City Auditor, and thus appointed Councilors <br />Williams and Obie to watch over the selection process. Mr. Lieuallen <br />and Mr. Haws both expressed concern about having the same auditor for <br />a lengthy time. <br /> <br />Mr. Obie questioned exactly what he and Mr. Williams were to do. <br />Manager replied they were to obser'le the selection process for an <br />auditor and report back to Council.
